Hotshot (Livre électronique)

I am not a big fan of soccer (American here!) but this story was super fun and you could tell that the author loved writing about this sport. Highly recommend!

This sweet story of hotshot American striker Sloane and performance coach Ella had me hooked throughout.
I’m not a big football (soccer) fan but the setting at the club and the background story of how quickly things are changing in women’s sport made for a gripping and interesting read.
If you want a good romance with loveable, authentic characters you really want to root for I’d recommend this book, whether you love sports or not.

I really enjoyed Sloane and Ella's story. Very timely what with the Lionesses and WSL getting the spotlight. Having been to a number of WSL matches and being a women's footballer from many years ago when we couldn't play at school, this story really resonated with me. Claire once again weaves a tale that I both wanted and didn't want to end. That's always what makes a 5 star review for me. If you like football give this story a read.

I have been waiting for a soccer storyline for quite awhile and was so excited that one of my favourite authors said she would have one ready before the World Cup. I watch the WSL so absolutely loved this and had a wonderful time trying to see who might have “inspired “ the characters.

If you want a behind the scenes look at women playing professional soccer(football) then this well written, entertaining story with adorable characters and plenty of Lydon banter is perfect. Even if you aren’t a soccer fan, you will love this romance from the Queen of RomCons.
