I read this as an ARC copy, I so loved the first book in this two book series that I could hardly wait to read this one! I must say, I am a Royal’s fan from the US. With our wanna be “King” ruining our country, our Gay community is scared. This story just perfect to soothe the fears. Clare is full of wit, gives us a glimpse of what can be if we don’t give in or give up. Great characters and smooth writing make for a delightful read.
This was a much anticipated treat for this reader and to have it delivered to my inbox while away with nothing much to do but read was perfect. The format of two weeks to the wedding was terrific and as a sucker for royal weddings this will go down as my favorite.

we needed having fallen in love with the couple first delivered to us in the absolutely wonderful ‘The Princess Match’. For me personally the whole story feels like the perfect kind of sapphic fantasy novel/novella - nothing to do with the kind of fantasy books that contain vampires, or mythical creatures -but two human characters that, if they really existed in the world we live in today, would never ever be able or allowed to be together as Ash and Victoria are allowed to be in this story thanks to Clare’s talent and imagination. Although it’s nice to dream of a future where this type of relationship could be possible…
Clare Lydon is one of my favourite sapphic romance authors, and books like this make me appreciate why. All her fans wanted more of these two characters, and she made it happen in the best possible way. If every book Clare writes forever more is about Ash & Victoria, I'd be happy!
My favorite royal romance is the Princess Match, so without a doubt I HAD to read the Forever Match. This is such a good addition to the Ash and Victoria story. I will never grow tired of reading these two characters. Hopefully, we will see more of them in the future?
