Another great book from Clare Lydon

I love reading Clare Lydon's books. She writes so well. The story flows perfectly and is easy to follow. But mostly, it's her quirky sense of humour that leaves me craving the next Clare Lydon novel.

Sugar sweet, seasonal sapphic story

In my opinion, this is Clare Lydon's cutest story so far. Mainly set in London, old friends Beth and Sara reunite, forgive past mistakes, and make each other truly happy by pairing up. It's a very slow burn romance, with a lot of focus on their friends (including other queer characters), family, and work lives too. Much talk of cakes and sweet treats (Sara's a baker) which will make you hungry and crave anything with sugar! Plus, there's festive imagery galore and department store fun. Sweet, rather than sexy, this time around from Clare Lydon, but I just adored the tale, full of wedding bells, cake, and 'Snow' of course.
