Erin and Steph are both lost in their own ways. Erin has a successful business, but problems with her family.
Steph is still trying to make a go of being a full time actor, but the dream is wearing a bit thin.

When Erin hires Steph to play the part of her girlfriend for a big family occasion, they're thrown together for a very intense few days.

Erin and Steph were both very likeable characters and the short timescale drove the story and their relationship forward to keep you reading. You can't beat the Scottish Highlands for a romantic location, especially when they're experiencing an unprecedented heatwave.

I've enjoyed all of the books l've read by Clare Lydon and this was no exception. An engaging, gripping story that I was happy to make my first read of 2022.

The Princess Match

Just the right amount of romance, heat, sexiness, love, football, family, friends, mistakes, everything. This is my favourite story of yours by far, seconded by Hotshot. More football stories would be most welcome. As would a fab follow-up to The Princess Match.

What a lovely story yet again from Clare Lydon. It took me back to some of my favourite places in Scotland. And my heart warmed at the Candyfloss references...what a softie. No spoilers from me. Give this story a go, you won't be disappointed.
